39th Electronic Warfare Squadron
MISSION
The mission of the 39th Electronic Warfare Squadron is to deliver cutting-edge EMS capabilities to the warfighter. It provides electronic warfare reprogramming support, target analysis of intelligence mission data, software/capability development, and modeling/simulation in support of over 70 electronic warfare systems.

PERSONNEL AND RESOURCES
The 39th Electronic Warfare Squadron is a diverse 82- member team composed of six flights filling 12 Air Force specialty codes ranging from intelligence to software development and engineering. This diverse team of active duty, government civilians, and contractors ensure that combat platforms can detect, locate, and defeat adversary threats in order to meet Combatant Command objectives.
HISTORY
The 39th Electronic Warfare Squadron grew out of its mission as 453d Electronic Warfare Squadron Detachment 1 to activate as the 39th Electronic Warfare Squadron on 23 July, 2020. In less than a year the 39th Electronic Warfare Squadron clenched an Air Force Outstanding Unit Award marking the unit’s first decoration. It is currently the newest squadron in the 350th Spectrum Warfare wing.
