Colonel JOSHUA KOSLOV

Colonel Josh Koslov is the Commander, 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing, Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWW’s primary mission is to provide rapid electronic combat power to Commanders during peacetime, through crisis and in war. Colonel Koslov advises the USAF Warfare Center Commander and Department of the Air Force senior leaders on the integration of technology, policy, and operations enabling forces to attain Spectrum Warfare superiority.  As the Air Force’s newest Wing, the 350 SWW will  grow to support 2300 military and civilian personnel across ten units at   three locations throughout the United States.

Colonel Koslov has commanded in combat three times across the squadron and group levels.  Most notably, as the 609 AOC Commander, Al Udeid, Qatar where his team executed Operation ALLIES REFUGE, the largest non-combatant evacuation in history.  Col Koslov is a distinguished graduate of and later served as an instructor at the U.S. Air Force Weapons School.  He has served in a variety of staff positions to include the Chief of the Strategy, Plans and Competition Division at Headquarters Pacific Air Forces and in the Joint Staff National Military Command Center as a Presidential Strike Advisor. Additionally, he served as legislative fellow in the office of Congresswoman Gabby Giffords.  Following command of the 755th Operations Support Squadron he earned a master’s degree in national security studies from the Naval War College Mahan Advanced Research program, focused on deterrence and competitive strategies. He received his commission from Officer Training School after graduating from San Francisco State University.
